This award winning, innovative packaging concept for a box of NYC Spaghetti caught my eye while browsing the web and is a collaboration between Ben Thorpe and fellow design student Alex Creamer.
The bottom of the container contains a replication of the design stemming from the top, which in turn causes the spaghetti lines to be pushed into the shape at the top.
I think it is a really fun way to present spaghetti rather than a pillar of pasta. How unexpected, it would be fun to do other well known buildings from around the world.
I love to see innovative ways of presenting products that we already have accepted visual formats for, have a look at Alex's website where there are a few more ideas. I think there's a case for The Leaning Tower of Pisa!
